It’s been 25 years since the smash hit “Pretty Woman” starring Julia Roberts and Robert Gere hit theatres, and to celebrate the anniversary the Beverly Wilshire Hotel—where the majority of the film was shot—is offering visitors a trio of romantic weekend getaway packages for two dubbed “Pretty Woman for a Day.”
The most expensive of these costs $100,000 and provides the ultimate way to relive the onscreen magic of the two leads. Couples will enjoy a one-night stay in the posh Presidential Suite at the Beverly Wilshire, which is the room where Vivian (Roberts) and Edward (Gere) met and ultimately fell in love. In addition, guests will receive a $2,000 shopping spree on Rodeo Drive—personal shopping consultant included—and a ride in a Rolls-Royce to Greystone Mansion for a “shoeless” picnic that includes musical serenade.
That evening, you will embark in what’s described as being “the ultimate date night.” Guests will be treated to dinner atop the Veranda Suite Terrace and a show, either the L.A. Opera or the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.
From the Beverly Wilshire description of the package:
“Throughout your stay, we’ll inspire you with stills from the movie, allowing you and your sweetheart to mimic classic scenes for exclusive photography opportunities. The fairy-tale ending? We’ll leave that up to you.”
The Beverly Wilshire is also offering up less expensive “Pretty Woman for a Day” packages. For $22,000, the Premiere package includes a night in the Veranda Suite, a three-hour picnic, $1,000 clothing allowance and 90-minutes couple massages.
For $15,000, the deluxe package includes a stay in a deluxe Beverly Hills suite, two hours with a personal shopper, a two-hour picnic and 60-minute couple massages.
The Beverly Wilshire Hotel is one of America’s premiere inn’s and this is a great way to enjoy it and Beverly Hills in all of its luxury and glory.
